I need to update my company logo/stationery

I have an existing logo which I want slightly modernised, while maintaining my company identity.
The basic form of the logo should remain the same but have a clean,subtle more modern look, for use on websites and stationery
I also require the layout of a creative business card and stationery
Logo and artwork to be provided as Indesign, illustrator and/or hi res .psd file
Suggested paper stock for stationery appreciated

The business being advertised is a presitiguos musical instrument company.
Specialising in Orchestral woodwind instruments.
Repair, service, handcrafting and retail.
Samples of existing logo and stationery is attached
Corporate colour has been PMS 1675U - having seen a few submissions, maybe a change in colour is also what is needed to make it appear more modern?
I would consider a change to colour if final result is good

As I decide between the final selection, anyone wish to throw in a design from left field, not using the " W " as the main feature of the logo?
