Contest Brief

We are looking for someone to redesign our website with a brand new clean look and feel. The website we currently have started off as a template several years ago, but with the browser changes though the years, certain elements have been shifted and re sized. It is definitely time for an upgrade!

This project will be simple as we will want a one page, vertically scrolling website with somewhere between 5 -8 separate sections. It must be extremely visually appealing and extremely user friendly with a "call to action". We really do not want to use the same color scheme or pics of our old website. We do not have a lot of content to fill it up with, so a one-page scrolling site will be perfect. We are a small, family-owned HVAC company. We have also recently expanded into Facilities Management and consulting, so it will not just be a heating or air conditioning service site.

The site will have, at the very least, “Home”, “About Us”, “Services”, “Our Customers” or “Testimonials”, “Contact Us / Request Service”, and “Pay Your Invoice” sections. We were also thinking about possibly having a section for “Our Team”, and, a placeholder for a video or animation commercial about our company in the “home” or “about us” sections (some examples are in the listed websites below). The site must be in a format that we can easily edit or add/remove sections ourselves later. If possible, we would prefer having an original design, instead of a template.

The website should be cutting edge and eye catching. We DO NOT want it to look like a boring, typical HVAC, construction, or handyman website. We would rather have it look more like a professional services or tech company, instead of a boring industrial/ construction website.

Are you considering a logo redesign as well? You have suggested some very modern websites, but your logo is very traditional. One difficulty we will face in designing is balancing the two.
