Describe business in a few short sentences: We are a makeup, cosmetics and skincare company. We are in the business of selling airbrush makeup and airbrush equipment to the general public and to everyday women. We will also have skincare and cosmetic products.
Vivid colors (think rock candy)
Target audience: Millenials and Gen X’ers who buy tarte, urban decay, drunk elephant, too faced. Women/men who are into trying the latest makeup trends and skincare products. People looking for great products and a brand vibe/story that they connect with. People looking for the perfect makeup. People who want to look younger and have flawless-looking skin.
What is their age, sex, income, city they live in, hobbies, etc.: Women and some men who love makeup, or who are obsessed with cutting edge beauty trends. Urban and suburban. Natural, vegan, cruelty-free advocates. Busy women... because airbrush is a way to put your makeup on fast.
How does target audience think, communicate and get info: Social media, internet, influencers, friends and family
Challenges target audience faces: Fear of using compressor.
What are some trends in the market that we love or hate: We love that the trend of airbrush makeup is becoming more mainstream, and so is using makeup techniques that professional makeup artists use (i.e. contouring). We hate cheap Amazon knockoffs.
What makes your company different and better than your competitor: Minimal barrier of entry. Customer Service heavy. Natural, vegan, cruelty free. Hi-end accessible packaging, designed with the end user in mind to make it easy and approachable. Competitors just throw stuff in a box and hope for the best.
What do you want your logo to communicate about your company or products: We want it to feel very current, ahead of the curve, not old-school. Vibrant and youthful, but not childish. Approachable. Intriguing. Unique. Trend-setting.
What really excites you about your business and brand: Our passion is getting this into the hands of every woman in America. This is so easy to use and it will be a thrill to see women using this for the first time and loving it and chucking all their other makeup in the trash.
Are there any elements that you would like to see included in your logo design? Any you DO NOT want to see? Do not include a woman’s face.
Do you have any ideas for the style of font in your logo: Open to all font ideas. Not frilly. No scripted or handwritten.
