Síntese do concurso

The project is to build a (strip mall) with new and a fascinating architecture design:
Project description:
The plot is located in UAE, outside the city centre.
Relatively close to a neighborhood with around 8000 residents.
The plot is adjacent to a highway which the plot has no access to.
The plot is adjacent to a small internal road (single carriageway) which takes the residents in and out of the neighborhood.
A high voltage electrical pylon lies on the east side of the plot (a reservation of 50 meters is kept between the plot limit and the pylon.
Around 20000 vehicles pass by the location every day with the closest shops lying around 20 minutes' drive from the neighborhood on average.
The main concept is to make use out of the existing road and create an additional road that branches out of the existing single carriage way at one side of the plot and come out from the other side of the plot very smoothly (to serve more shops on both sides of the road) (avoid signals or T-junctions). ( if possible )
Car parking's should be on both sides of the road / when possible to make it easier for people to park in front of each shop and shop and go.
Adequate Landscaping should be considered with minimal irrigation as possible ( the area is very hot and arid ).
Total project’s area is 11486 square meters.

Strip mall – ground floor only - (shops mainly for a neighborhood):
Area = 24 square meters each minimum 4 m x 6 m. (preferably to give tenants more flexibility of merging 2 or more shops if needed but as applicable).
A Small open area with kid's games or mini theme park which acts as an attraction should be considered .( if possible )
Adding other extra attractions is a plus.
Small masjid with its ablution area and toilets (4 toilets) ( if possible ).
Put in mind that the shops are supposed to cover almost every daily needs of the neighborhood, since it is fairly far from the city Centre.
o The more shops the better.
o Coffee shops and restaurants might require outside sitting area. ( please consider )

• Attached the DWG file for the layout and the location on google map.

The required design:
1- Architectural design for the strip mall layout with (2D plans “PDF & DWG”).
2- Façade design for the mall for all the above mentioned parts. (3D Model & AutoCAD).
3- Landscaping.

if you have a better concept than in the description please don't hesitate to submit.

Please note that after choosing the winning design, the designer should acknowledge that I might need to ask him/her for some minor changes and modifications to reach the final design.
