I have been writing a series of children's books about my daughters, Sofiah and Kaia. Some of them are short and rhyming while other books are longer and are for older readers. I am looking for an artist I can work with long term on these books.

I am looking for the best sketches/animation versions of my girls to see how their likeness appears in the books. I want them to have an animated look, yet still maintain some of their actual features.

I have attached a few photos of them as well as one of the shorter books I would like to get illustrated. Also, below is the short book if the doc will not download. From the book, please choose a page or two and illustrate them as you might for the entire book.

It’s Valentine’s Day

What are So-So and Kai-Kai
Creating today?

Page 3-4
Ah, making cards
For mommy and daddy

Oh they will be
So very happy

Page 5-6
A homemade card
Is always the best

So-So, get the scissors
And Kai-Kai the rest

Page 7-8
Use red and pink paper
Plenty of crayons too

Don’t forget the sparkles
And especially the glue

Page 9-10
They cut out the hearts
With patience and care

Decorate and paste them
Careful not to tear

Page 11-12
Create stick figures
Of the family hand in hand

Draw little cupids
The best that they can

Page 13-14
With glue on their fingers
Markers on their nose

What a mess they have made
But don’t you suppose

Page 15-16
The girls had so much fun
And were so very excited

When they see the card that was made
Mom and dad will be so delighted

Page 17-18
“Let’s sign our names
So they’ll know it’s from us two.”

Write ‘To Mommy and Daddy’
And finally a big ‘We love you’.

Hi! The word doc can't be downloaded, could you re-upload it, please?

Also, please consider #increaseprize as the current prize money is rather low for 1-2 pages of illustrations, even for sketches. I'm sure that even doubling it would aleady be enough to attract more artists... and that would mean higher quality work for you.
