99% of the people just copy-pasted 400mile radius circles without understanding how they will change according to latitude change.

THE WINNING ENTRY IS WRONG! Reason behind I am stating, is, if you check 400mile radius of Minneapolis, MN and of Palo Alto, CA - they SHOULD show larger and smaller areas due to earth's projection system. That's why I took so much time to understand what i am doing is correct. kindly check the winner's entry - the areas are same. HENCE, IT IS WRONG. It will affect your work. Best regards.

Would like a very simple, elegant design. Grey map with no other marks on it other than the marks needed for the map. Also, the 400 mile radius circles might become too busy. Perhaps that area can just be shaded to show all the area in the US that is included in that area.
