Hi Joshua, as I said this is a good approach. However I don´t see any more creative input besides the stuff that we have discussed together. For example the most important reason why I started the contest was the "Add transaction" screen. Do you have a suggestion for the UX on this screen (small screen, big screen)...

The basic solution for the 'Catergory' part would be to have an input box and the user can start search a word 'Fo' and food comes up etc. Follow the route we took with the filters on the 'type' of transaction, click the title and then it drops down. Actually maybe, following this route for the whole 'Add transaction' could work?

This would keep it taking up less space with a more simple look for the user.
