I have a raster reference sheet (raster.png) showing several mechanical devices and a matching style sample in vector form (vector.svg). For this trial run, pick FOUR complete pieces of equipment from the raster.png and redraw the entire assembly in Adobe Illustrator, matching the clean technical line style of vector.svg.

Focus on depicting every major functional component and any visible internal mechanisms. Wherever it clarifies the design, feel free to introduce measurement call-outs, concise labels, exploded break-outs or tight close-ups—just keep the look consistent with the reference style.

Key requirements
• Adobe Illustrator artwork only—no auto-trace, no embedded raster.
• Closed Bézier paths throughout, with smooth curves and uniform stroke weights.
• Fully editable: strokes, fills and text remain live, layers organised logically.
• Final deliverable: a single .ai (adobe illustrator) file.

This contest simply identifies illustrators who can deliver at the required standard; the winner and selected runners-up will be invited to handle the remaining ±50 diagrams as paid work. If any clarification is needed, let me know before you start—otherwise, I’m looking forward to seeing how crisply you can bring the whole device to life in vector form.

Selected artists must sign NDA and IP assignment via DocuSign before award or handover. A valid email address is required for signature routing. If you cannot sign standard agreements or prefer not to share an email, please do not participate.

CH, you need to watch out, most entries are going to be AI generated, 99% AI, these scammers will literally post HUNDREDS of AI images, over and over but there are things you can do to spot them, watch out for them dropping all entries super fast. Keep in mind a solid design takes time to create, so multiple different entries in a row is impossible. The easiest way to spot them is typing their name into 'Search Entries' so you can see their pattern of spamming and how fast they are posting entries. ALWAYS SEARCH NAMES. I can not stress this enough, every single entry you like the look of, SEARCH NAME, Every single time, SEARCH NAME.
