ELECTRIC ENGINE is the brand name for a revolutionary patented technology that will hopefully transform the heavy engine sector.

The target is primary heavy good vehicles (trucks and semis), but it can also be applied to the next segment down (cars, light trucks etc) and the next segment up (rail, plant, marine etc).

The technology uses a combustion engine combined with a fast response electric generator in a single unit. The fast response of the electric generator is used to apply a temporary load to the engine after combustion has started to change the pressure and temperature in the engine cylinder. This changes the combustion mode and gives about a large improvement in efficiency and a dramatic drop in emissions.

Basically, this means that you can use a combustion engine with an electrified power train, to implement what we call a synchronous electric hybrid.

Anyhow, that's enough of the technology, onto the logo.

The patent company is called Combustion Order Ltd.

Attached is a logo rough to start you off.

It has got to have "ELECTRIC ENGINE" as text.
Primary colours to be used are green, blue (both quite strong) and black.
On the left we want a stylised profile of the front bit of a futuristic truck and a car and or van to show the potential applications.
On the right we want something that looks like part of a sine wave, or performance curve that shows an increase or improvement. Green colour somewhere on this would tie in with the emissions, or green credentials?

The two circles are very stylised and meant to represent "EE" for electric engine, or "CO" for combustion order, or maybe both? They also represent the combustion engine and electric generator being linked together.

Hopefully, this is not too prescriptive and you can still create a great logo based on this concept.

  Hi, I like the window of the HGV/Semi forming the outline of the car. However, the HGV/semi looks too much like a train. Try looking at the outline of the Tesla Semi. Overall, it needs to be a bit more serious. Cheers Pete
