Hi Guys,

We are looking to create a new and exciting kids brand and on the search for our freelance illustrator to team with!

So we need 2 different characters, basically a humanised version of Crayfish or Yabbies? They are quiet harsh in the real so we are definitely looking for them to be softened up to look more appealing to kids targeting 8 to 16 year olds . Think of the characters as crayfish versions of the actors on the old US sitcom "Freinds" (but cool and current) So please submit your 2 best versions of the following characters (or 1 really good one). The winner will get the prize but also ongoing work as we build the biz and take it globally. An innovative approach and look will win....

Profiles
Street Guy: Jack Lander
- Street Skateboarder who hangs in the city all day and skates at night
- Bit of a bad ass and has a mysterious nature
- Super fashionable and loves his street fashion
- Interesting look like Robert Patterson tall and lanky
- predominately a black Yabby

Claw Salon Owner: Nikki Singh
- Hot Asian who owns a claw Salon called “Clip Nippers”
- Very aggressive business woman
- Does every ones Claws and is up to date on ALL the gossip
- Has no time for boy friend but spends a lot of time with Jack Lander
- Has lots of friends and is always hassled to go on dates
- Predominately a pink Yabby

  This is just a suggestion. Contest Holder can do whatever he wants with this contest. It seems to me that more designers (me included) may add their work here if the contest was protected without the need to pay extra money for their own work.
