The assignment include structural analysis/design check of small 16000 ft commercial CMU with steel roof frame building, which has foundation/floor slab issues on one side, due to probably low bearing capacity. The interior slab show cracks, and the footer under the wall and the soil under the building need to be stabilized. Geotech report shows bearing capacity of 2ksf, and the footer design has been done for 3ksf, hence the issues. We will need to check the structural design of the building.
