I am looking to develop an analytics platform that incorporates data mapping, analysis and export functions. I would like something similar to KNIME () but with additional functionalities. The goal here is to create something where data can be fed in, manipulated, stats tests can be run and a quick output to excel and powerpoint. Alto of the software will use API (SQL and SAS) but have strong computational power. The person who takes this on can utilize alot of open source code, so it wont be all wiritng code from scratch. I am trying to analyze the information from a dataset which has details of the accidents in UK that occurred between the years 2005 to 2014 and the amount of traffic on major roads during the same years. From the dataset available to me, I am trying to group certain attributes together like road-surface conditions, light conditions, weather conditions and special conditions to find any natural groupings and see how these conditions affect the accident rates and try to see how we can improve these rates. You could also use one of the other node functions to calculate the correlation coefficient to see if Hispanic and issued Citation are highly positively correlated. In addition, there is the extension for Knime that helps you view Association Rules (the "Knime Rule Viewer" that I had you install). Please figure out how to use this functionality as well.
