My idea is: divide the cover idiagonally and put the boy inbetween his parents on the street on teh left and the boy with his surrogate mother on the right. You can decide to get rid of the background of both photos and you can use filters to make it a little more contemporary. I do not want the cover to be dark and old fashioned, but contemporary in tone and feeling. You can use the image of the courtyard of the camp as background. Might be a bit much though.
