Hi, We look for someone with experience creating 'mapfiles' for mapserver. Mapserver is installed on our web server and is working well normally only being used for simple overlays from (client provided) shapefiles. Now we would also to render layers for OSM roads and waterways and look to add landmarks and buildings later on once we have suitable shapefiles with polygons for buildings and not only points. For now we look to have a mapfile that has a similar look and feel like Google road maps in terms of styles but uses the OSM shapefile. The program will read a LandXML file, separate it's contents into Lines, Points or Polygons, create 3 new, blank shapefiles and load the line, point of polygon data into them from the LandXML file.
