I want to create a system of small joints which will allow a user to assemble a custom-sized square/rectangular lampshade frame. Typically, square/rectangular lampshade frames are constructed by welding galvanized steel rods together (see attached image for a sample frame which has angled sides). I want an app to be developed but am not sure if its possible to make. The basic premise is to take a picture of a metal welding bottle with a smartphone (one which cannot be seen through of cause) and the application indicates how full it is without us having to input values.
