I am ready to roll out a broadcast-quality streaming workflow with CESBO ASTRA but have not yet settled on the underlying hardware or supporting software stack. Your first task will be to review my throughput goals and audience size, then recommend a fully compatible server build—CPU, tuner or capture cards, storage, and network interface—along with the OS and any companion packages ASTRA needs to run smoothly. Once we agree on the spec, you will handle the complete installation and initial configuration of CESBO ASTRA. That includes getting the service running as a daemon, setting up channel sources, and verifying that the outbound stream meets broadcast standards (HLS, UDP, or RTP as required). The Santiago end of the interview will take place at the University of Chile and Rosa and Daniela will send the address and location for the interview in the coming days. They will also confirm the timing but I have asked if we can arrive at 10:30 am to set up, roll at 12:00, and then wrap and be out of her hair by 2:30. I'm away until June 30 but hoping you can please start the process of finding a freelancer to film the interview, film b-roll of our guest, some scenics of Santiago, and even some POV shopping in a grocery store like Jumbo if that is possible. As for the Toronto end - I expect this will be at CBC and I will find a location once I'm back in July.
