Each of these programs serve different purposes but are compatible with each other. Though there are other similar programs, till date the Microsoft Office seems to be the best, easy-to-use office and desktop publishing software used in the western world.

Microsoft Office comes in different versions for different end-users. The most popular and widely used version is the desktop version, available for both Windows and Mac OS, there is also a mobile version for smartphone users. Microsoft Office can be used to handle virtually all office work and is useful for everyone.
