Modify PDF in AutoCAD

The detail that makes or breaks this job is scale: a PDF brought into AutoCAD almost never lands at true 1:1, so dimensions added to an uncalibrated import will read the wrong numbers. My first step is to calibrate the geometry against a known dimension from your original and lock it to true 1:1. After that, every dimension I add is accurate and plots correctly to A3. From there I'll strip out all the legacy content, outdated labels, old shapes, diagrams, and previous dimensions, leaving the sheet clean. Then I'll add a fresh, accurate dimension set using a proper dimension style, with tidy, logically named layers so you can keep working in the file later without untangling anything. You'll get the editable DWG and a flattened PDF that mirrors it.
