We are a small software development team and need a simple plan to re-imagine a single-floor office for a team of 14-18 people whose day-to-day revolves around close collaboration. See exisitng layout attached. The area does not have any windows. We do not want to move walls and doors. Two split system wall mounted aircons is installed and cant be moved. There are lots of lights, power and network points. - Area 1: remove furniture, keep open workspace, cater for at least 14 (to to 18) stand-up desks (1500 x 750). We do not want to keep the current TVs on the front wall, but would like to have two areas with 2 TVs each and a few white boards. - Area 2: leave untouched - Area 3: keep the existing large rectaangular table (2000 x 2500) in the middle and convert into open meeting + pause / breakout area. Add 10-12 chairs around table and come couches. Add 2 TVs and white boards. What I need from you is a clear, scaled floor plan that we can hand straight to our fit-out contractor and furniture supplier. A clean 2-D drawing (PDF) plus an editable file—AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or comparable—is perfect. Please factor in desks, seating, circulation paths. Provide two options and allow for two rounds of tweaks so we can fine-tune the flow after initial feedback. If you’ve shaped collaborative offices before, let’s get this plan on paper.
