5K Medal 3D Model

I need a printable 3D model of a commemorative 5 K finisher medal. The file will be sent straight to a plastic-based 3D printer, so everything—wall thickness, overhangs, and relief depth—has to be production-ready without additional cleanup. Scope • Design a round or mildly custom-shaped medal that includes the race name “5 K” and space for the event date. I’ll supply the exact wording and any logo files once we start. • Medium visual detail is ideal: crisp text, a raised border, and one focal graphic element are enough; no micro-engravings that would vanish in plastic. • Integrate a ribbon loop or slotted top that prints as one piece with the medal. Deliverable • One watertight STL (OBJ as a secondary export is welcome) ready for FDM or resin printing. The file should pass the usual slicer checks—no non-manifold edges, reversed normals, or intersecting shells. Target diameter is 70 – 75 mm and overall thickness 3 – 4 mm, but I’m open to minor tweaks if it improves printability. Acceptance Criteria 1. Loads error-free in Cura and PrusaSlicer. 2. Prints without supports on an FDM machine using 0.2 mm layers. 3. All text remains legible at full scale. If you’ve modeled awards or coins before, point me to a sample; otherwise a quick viewport render is fine. I’m ready to approve fast and move to production.
