Full Job Description I need a mechanical CAD designer to design an adjustable mounting bracket for an embedded IoT sensor package. The bracket should be lightweight, rugged, and suitable for outdoor use in moderate weather, including rain, sun, and temperature changes. Preferred material is aluminum, with stainless fasteners and optional anodizing or coating if needed. The key requirement is multiple preset mounting angles, not a loose continuous hinge. I want a compact bracket that can snap or lock into fixed positions such as 0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, and 90°. The mechanism can use a detent plate, spring pin, indexed slots, locking pivot, or another practical approach, but it must feel secure for field installation. The design should fit within a 120 mm mounting footprint and support a 2 kg device load with a 2× safety factor. Deliverables include STEP files, native CAD files, dimensioned drawings, exploded assembly view, short BOM, and basic FEM or hand-calculation notes. Relevant photos are required. Applications without relevant photos, CAD renders, or screenshots will not be considered.
