Objective Create a realistic rendering of the remodeled kitchen by replacing the existing “Current” kitchen layout with the floor plan shown in the drawings labeled “New.” The rendering should accurately follow the proportions, layout, and placements indicated in the new drawings. Scope of Work The freelancer will use the “New” architectural drawings to generate a full kitchen rendering that reflects the updated layout and replaces the existing kitchen shown in the current images. The rendering should integrate seamlessly with the surrounding space so it feels like a natural continuation of the home. Ceiling Design (Key Feature) A major architectural element of the design is the ceiling treatment. The kitchen ceiling should feature tongue-and-groove paneling with exposed beams. The beam spacing, scale, and visual style should follow the inspiration photos included in the design brief. The goal is a classic, architectural look that adds warmth and structure to the space. Relationship to the Living Room The kitchen sits adjacent to the living room and window seat area (visible in the provided living room rendering). Although the floor plan is open, the ceiling should create a natural architectural break between the living room and kitchen. The beam layout or trim transition should subtly define the kitchen as its own space while still feeling cohesive with the living room design. Design Intent The overall goal is to visually separate the kitchen from the living room through ceiling architecture while maintaining an open flow between the spaces. The ceiling detail should help create the feeling of two connected rooms rather than one large undefined space.
