I need a detailed CFD study of an earth-tube heat exchanger carried out in ANSYS to compare its performance under several operating scenarios. The core objective is a side-by-side comparison of heat-transfer rate, so every model, boundary condition and post-processing step should be set up with that metric in mind. The job covers: • Building or refining the 3-D geometry of the buried pipe system, surrounding soil and incoming air domain. • Defining material properties for soil, pipe wall and air, including temperature-dependent conductivity where relevant. • Running steady-state or transient simulations (whichever proves more reliable) for at least two contrasting cases—e.g., different pipe diameters, burial depths or airflow rates—to reveal how each variable alters the heat-transfer rate. • Extracting plots and numerical tables of overall heat-transfer rate, outlet air temperature and pressure drop for every case. • Summarising the results in a concise report that highlights the performance differences, explains the underlying physics and includes clear recommendations for design improvements. Please keep the workflow entirely within ANSYS (pre-processing through post-processing). Mesh files, project files, raw result data, and the written report will constitute completion.
