Project Description: Architect Building Retask
We are seeking an experienced architect to retask a commercial building that is currently in good condition but requires minor changes. The main goal of this project is to transform the building into a modern office space and Fiber Training facility the Building is an old Elementary School.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in commercial building retasking and redesign
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and best practices
- Proficiency in creating detailed floor plans, blueprints, and 3D renderings
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations regarding office spaces
- Ability to incorporate efficient space utilization and maximize natural lighting
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the client and other stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Assessing the current state of the building and identifying areas that need minor changes to align with the desired office space design.
2. Creating detailed floor plans and blueprints that optimize the use of available space and meet the functional requirements of an office environment.
3. Incorporating modern design elements and ensuring the building meets all necessary safety and accessibility standards.
4. Collaborating with the client to understand their specific needs and preferences, and integrating them into the overall design.
5. Providing regular progress updates and addressing any concerns
Last Plans of the building have been scanned and attached as well as site Photos.
Plan is to make Offices out of the Library - First & Second Floor for Labs, Second Floor forLecture /Class Rooms the fourth floor will be mens Dorms on half and Women's Dorm other half Segregated with Communal Bathroom & Showers on each side. Gym will be the Day area Cafeteria/Kitchen. Al designs must be Federal & Missouri State compliant.
