Customize Dry Storage Room Structural Design

I’m looking for a structural engineer (ideally experienced in steel or mixed systems) to develop a compact but complete engineering package for a single-bay garage used as a dry storage room. 1. Object parameters • Clear internal dimensions: width 3 m, height 3 m (at the door opening), length 10 m • Needs good natural ventilation while remaining airtight enough to keep materials dry 2. Scope of work • Advise on one or two cost-efficient structural systems (e.g., light steel frame, masonry with steel roof trusses, etc.) and briefly justify the choice • Perform structural calculations according to Eurocodes, including: – wind and snow loads for the exact site (location will be provided after hire) – simple, economical foundations (strip or pad footings) with reinforcement sizing • Provide practical instructions for casting the concrete foundation (grade C16/20 minimum) and for erecting the structure and cladding • Deliver a full, detailed 3-D model—not just a visualization—capable of being edited later Preferred formats: DWG/DXF, IFC, Revit (*.rvt*), SketchUp (*.skp*), or STEP • Produce concise drawings sufficient for workshop/fabrication and on-site assembly: – plan, section, elevations – anchor-plate and base-plate layout – member sizes and connection indications (no full shop drawings required) 3. Deliverables • Structural report in PDF with all Eurocode checks • Native calculation files (Robot, SCIA, RFEM, RF-Toolbox, Excel, etc.) • Complete editable 3-D model in at least one of the listed formats 4. Information I will supply after award • Exact address (for climatic zone verification) • Preferred door type and roof cladding, if needed 5. Required skills • Proven experience with Eurocode-based calculations for small industrial or storage buildings • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalent 3-D software • Professional license is a plus but not mandatory for this conceptual package
