I need a working miniature that shows exactly how rainwater can be captured, filtered, stored and then pumped for reuse. The project is for a school presentation, but I want it built as a fully functional prototype rather than a static display, so moving parts and visible water flow matter. The model must include three core components: a small-scale filtration system that clearly demonstrates sediment removal, a storage tank that can hold the collected water, and a pump mechanism powerful enough to lift the stored water back to a higher point for recirculation. I’m open to PVC, acrylic, 3-D printed parts or any lightweight, classroom-safe materials as long as each stage of the process remains transparent enough for students to see what is happening inside. Alongside the finished model, please give me concise build notes and a simple wiring or plumbing diagram so I can explain the setup and replicate any troubleshooting steps during the presentation. A short video walkthrough of the prototype running would be appreciated for teacher review, though a live demonstration option works too if you’re local. If you have prior experience with STEM teaching aids, Arduino-driven pumps, or small-scale environmental prototypes, let me know—those skills will definitely help.
