Title: 3D Modeling + Simple Mechanism Design for RC Vehicle (Automotive Experience Preferred) Description: We’re building a scaled RC proof-of-concept vehicle with functional interior/exterior features. This is NOT a production car — it’s a 3D-printed RC model with simplified mechanisms. We already prepared a PDF guide that shows the design direction, proportions, and features. It’s only a guide — we’re flexible and open to improvements or refinements you recommend. We need a designer who can model the body + chassis and create basic servo-driven linkages for doors, bonnet, and boot. Vehicle dimensions, the ideal engine mockup type, and the gearbox mockup will all be finalized together during the design process. What We Need: BODY • Exterior 3D model (clean, modern) • Two falcon-style doors (servo-driven) • Powered windows (simple up/down mechanism) • Servo-driven bonnet + boot • Basic interior: seats, steering wheel, simple dashboard, AC shell, two tablet mockups, small fire extinguisher, two luggage props • Internal spaces reserved for: • Servos • ToF sensors • LEDs / small light housings • Mini speakers (2): one inside each falcon door area CHASSIS: • RC-style chassis with: • Servo steering system • Drivetrain with a simple differential • Engine block mockup (housing for DC motor) • Gearbox with space for 2 hall sensors + 8 magnets • CNG tank mock with space for batteries • Flat PCB integration area with edges shaped for 2.54mm header pin attachment • Additional mini speaker slot inside the front radiator mockup PRINTING REQUIREMENTS: • All parts must be 3D-printable • Logical model splitting for easy printing + assembly • Designed in realistic proportions but scaled to ~0.5–0.7m length before printing MECHANISMS: Simple servo-driven hinge systems for: • Falcon doors • Bonnet • Boot • Wiper (Only RC-level movement — nothing overly complex.) ELECTRONICS (FYI — Not Your Job): Just leave space for: • PCB (ESP32, multiplexer, PCA9685, DFPlayer, PAM amp, etc.) • Servos • 3 mini speakers (2 in falcon doors, 1 in radiator mock) • ESC • Battery percentage indicator • 6 ToF sensors • LEDs / LED strips • Battery + BMS (We can discuss wiring/PCB as a separate job.) WHO WE WANT: • Strong CAD + 3D modeling skills • Automotive familiarity preferred • Understanding of 3D printing constraints • Ability to design simple, functional servo linkages NOTE: This is a simplified RC model, not a full automotive design. We want a clean, functional, printable design — nothing over-engineered. DO NOT APPLY IF: • You only do rendering/styling • You have no real build experience • You cannot show past work related to automative or similar work

Hi, Your project is exactly the type I specialize in—functional, buildable RC-scale systems combining mechanical design, 3D printing, and simple actuation. I have experience in mechanical design, mechatronics, and 3D-printable assemblies, including servo-driven mechanisms and compact system integration. My approach: Develop a clean exterior + structured interior layout with proper space allocation for all electronics Design 3D-printable modular parts (optimized splits, tolerances, assembly logic) Create reliable servo-driven mechanisms for falcon doors, bonnet, boot, and wipers (simple, robust linkages) Engineer RC chassis with steering, differential, and motor/gearbox mock integration Ensure practical routing and mounting for sensors, speakers, and PCB Key strengths for your project: Designing for FDM printing constraints (orientation, strength, fit) Creating compact mechanisms that actually work in real builds Balancing aesthetics + functionality without over-engineering Deliverables: Full 3D CAD (STEP + native) Assembly structure (print-ready parts) Mechanism details for all moving components Basic integration layout for electronics Timeline: 2–3 weeks (iterative with your feedback) Questions: Preferred scale (exact length target)? Servo specs (torque/size)? Wheelbase or RC platform preference? I can deliver a clean, functional, and fully printable RC vehicle design ready for prototyping. Best regards,
