I’m building a line of collectible fantasy action figures and need a skilled 3D artist who can keep up with a steady release schedule. Each character must be sculpted with enough surface detail to feel alive on a six-inch print, yet remain printer-friendly—clean manifolds, sensible wall thickness, and no extreme micro-detail that would disappear on an FDM or resin machine. For every model I will supply a brief back-story, reference sketches, and size requirements. Your job is to translate that material into a watertight STL (or OBJ if you prefer) that is ready to slice. Moderate polygon counts are fine as long as the silhouette is sharp and key features—armor plates, fabric folds, facial expressions—read well at scale. If parts need keying for easy assembly, build those keys right into the mesh. When you respond, focus on the experience you have in sculpting characters specifically for 3D printing. Links to prints that have already made it off the build plate and onto a shelf will speak louder than raw ZBrush screenshots. Typical deliverables per character: • Print-ready STL with oriented supports removed • A split version if the figure exceeds standard build volumes • Quick turn render so I can market the figure before production I’m looking for someone who enjoys ongoing work and can hit reasonable weekly or bi-weekly milestones.
