I need to build a prototype Transmitter that utilizes a simple remote control doorbell transmitter circuit (such as Harbor Freight Tools, transmitter & receiver, Retails for $8) This transmitter has about 8 components and the board is 1.75" x 1.25" and currently is using a lot of real estate space.
I need a similar simple transmitter circuit to fit inside of a plastic round "cap" space that is .500" inside diameter by .350" deep with lid and battery. This is going to be triggering the receiver for a few seconds / once a day. Switch mounted on inside of cap mounted facing through outside cap wall (3d printed cap with integrated switch holder already made, can be modified if needed) Transmitter range is about 4 - 6 feet. Unit must be self-contained with no external connections.
Note: Inside cap size is slightly flexible.

Need compact battery to fit inside unit, such as a 3vdc Lithium battery (example ECR1216 Button Battery) maybe stack them to raise voltage?
