Position Overview:
Requiring a combination of a marketing and publishing mindset, this role
helps to lead the development of content initiatives to drive new and
current business. With both technical writing and deep fashion industry
experience, the ideal candidate will be able to spread the Dude Undies
brand message through storytelling and content development across all
communication channels, including blogs, social media, video and other
online and traditional marketing media. The ideal candidate will build on
strong relationships with influencers and work cross-functionally to
create both offline and online opportunities to engage these audiences
with our brand, company, and people.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
-Act as owner and head writer of the Dude Undies blog
-Map out an editorial content strategy that supports and extends marketing
initiatives, both short and long-term
-Supervise and create editorial plans for guest bloggers and contributors.
-Ensure content consistency, style, voice as well as adherence to marketing
objectives, target messaging and target customer segments
-Oversee and execute social media strategies, guidelines, best practices,
promotional campaigns and day-to-day activities while optimizing and
monetizing the brand’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest
and other relevant social media platforms
-Monitor comments and respond appropriately across all digital platforms.
-Identify and manage internal resources to assist with responses as needed
-Develop measurement tools, establish KPI’s and benchmarks for measuring
impact of social media efforts in order to determine campaign
effectiveness. Report results and feedback to management.
-Serve as an industry expert, being able to articulate current trends in
the fashion and accessories space.
