Hello, I have done several migrations similar to it. WPEngine is a good choice, it is the best hosting for wordpress. For moving the blog, we would move the files and database to wpengine, once this is complete and we have tested everything we would point the domain to Wpengine. After domain DNS propagation is done, we would re-key the SSL and use it on wpengine. Thanks, Prakhar
