I am collecting solid evidence that pinpoints the construction or completion of Al-Aqsa Mosque to the year 707 CE. I only want written sources in Arabic and, more specifically, historical books rather than manuscripts or administrative paperwork. What I need from you • A concise bibliography of Arabic historical books that explicitly date Al-Aqsa’s construction or inauguration to 707 CE. • A scan, PDF, or clear photo of each quoted folio (public-domain or properly licensed). • An English-language summary of the relevant passage, including the exact Arabic quote and page reference so I can cross-check it. • Brief context on each author—when they wrote, their scholarly credibility, and why the citation is considered reliable for early Islamic architecture. Acceptance criteria • Every citation must mention Al-Aqsa (or Bayt al-Maqdis) and the year 707 CE, or its Hijri equivalent, unambiguously. • References must come from published historical books, not later secondary commentaries unless they quote an earlier primary source you can trace. • All files must be legible and organized in a single folder with a simple index. If you already have access to archives such as the Dar al-Kutub, King Faisal Center, or similar collections, highlight that in your bid. I will review submissions in stages, starting with a short list of two or three promising sources before commissioning scans of additional volumes.
