History 111 Final Exam
Directions: The format of this exam is just like the second part of your midterm. For each of the terms provide the date, definition, and historical significance. Before completing the test, be sure to go back to Moodle and review the document entitled “How to Succeed on Exams” beneath the Important Course Documents tab. Each response should be a paragraph long (anywhere from 4-8 sentences). These responses should be very detailed and show that you not only understand a full definition of the term, but that you full comprehend how this particular person, place, event etc. impacted the trajectory of world history.
Plagiarism & Cheating: If you have plagiarized or cheated previously in the class and are caught doing so on your final exam, you will receive an F in the class and be reported to CPCC administration. Rules to follow in order to avoid such charges:
1. Do NOT work with anyone else on the exam.
2. Do NOT use any resources outside those provided on Moodle
3. Do NOT use the exact words from my lectures and PowerPoints. This is the same as plagiarizing the text of a book or website. You MUST put those words into your own unique thoughts and analysis.
4. Do NOT copy passages out of your textbook. If you use anything from your textbook, you MUST cite the page from which it came.
