Editing and proofreading of academic journal articles

This is continuing job offer. Payment is per article and fixed based on its legth and complexity. We need a person who can read academic texts and correct English language, sometimes it is only details like prepositions, sometimes complete sentence rewriting is necessary (infrequent). The remuneration can be about 10-20 USD based on length, 2 USD for checking references/citations, some bonuses for graphics. Example: huge complete rewriting 1 USD per 1000 characters, normal checking (prepositions and minor details here and there) 1 USD per 2000 characters. and for texts somewhere between these extremes...1USD per 1500 characters. If reliable, can upgrade to being editor of journals and can communicate with authors. There is a testing period and is not short term job (if we train you, we expect you to stay with us at least a year or more as you will gain expertise). Quantity of work is irregular and varies. Some weeks can be for one or two hours, some weeks completely busy (only few weeks in a year).
