This is an Order for " Results and Discussion part only. " I have attached the files which consist of instructions, objective, methodology, and results in table and graphical forms. The files are labelled introduction, chapter 5, chapter 6, chapter 7 (first cycle), chapter 7 (second cycle), chapter 8, and a journal regarding economic viability.
This study aims to assess the use of organic amendments produced from agro-industrial waste (pineapple leaf residues compost, sago bagasse compost, and chicken litter biochar) amended together with P fertilizers to increase soil Phosphorus availability, and at the same time reducing the Phosphorus fixation in soil by aluminium and iron. Besides, the study also aims to see how the reduction of soil phosphorus fixation could lead to the growth performance and yield of maize planting. To the end, there will be a chapter solely on economic viability on the usage of organic amendments compared with P chemical fertilizers.
Chapter 5 is the laboratory incubation study where we amend the soil together with P fertilizers and organic amendments, and allow to incubate for 30, 60, 90 days without any plants involved. At the end, the soil samples were analysed to see the phosphorus availability.
Chapter 6 is the pot trial where we have eliminated some of non promising treatments from chapter 5 to be tested using a test crop, maize. The soil were mixed with organic amendments and fertilizers were applied. At the end of the experiment, the plants were harvested during taselling stage because that is the maximum nutrient absorption stage. The plants were partitioned into leaves, stems and roots to determine the nutrients inside and nutrient uptake. Soil samples were also collected and analysed for nutrients and phosphorus availability.
Chapter 7 is the field trial where we picked only the promising treatments from pot experiment to be tested. There are 2 cycles involved. The field experiment follows exactly like pot experiment but the plants were harvested after they have produced the yield. The plants were harvested, partitioned into leaves and stems only because roots is considered to be the residual effect for second cycle. Soil samples were also collected and analysed for nutrients and phosphorus availability. Second cycle is the residual effect where we did not apply any P fertilizers in order to see how organic amendments can contribute to P retention and minimise leaching.
Chapter 8 is the laboratory phosphorus sorption and desorption study to see how the organic amendments will retain the phosphorus and release the phosphorus at different level of phosphorus being applied.
The journal is on the economic viability where i need the writer to follow how the journal was written based on my study using biochar and pineapple leaf residues compost in maize planting. Just write on the results and discussion part only.
Writer is required only write on the Results and Discussion for each chapter mentioned above. Writer does not necessarily follow the sequence of the data being attached, writer can arrange the sequence to make up the flow. Writer should not place the graphs and tables inside the manuscript as i will put them myself later. Writer only write the results and discussion in words only. Writer should inter-relate the results and discuss them. Writer can also inter-relate the results on different chapter during discussion. Please note that results and discussion are combined together and not separated.
