Job Responsibilities: 1. Bank & Cash Book: a. Maintaining of Bank & Cash Books. b. Accounting of Bank Receipts & payments on daily basis. c. Accounting of Cash receipts and payments on daily basis. d. Accounting of Petty Cash Expenses on daily basis. e. Reconciliation of Bank and Cash Transactions by Closing of the books. f. Reporting of Funds Position to Management by end of the day. 2. Staff Travelling Expenses and Salaries & Wages Accounting: a. Preparation Staff Expenses Bills Inward. b. Verification and Certification of Employee Expenses Sheets. c. Intimation to staff for disallowed bills. d. Accounting of Travelling Exp, Lodging & Boarding Exp, Staff Conveyance Exp and Other expenses as per the proper approvals. e. Preparation of Staff Salaries and NMR Wages statement and accounting the same. f. Processing of the Salaries & Wages and payment to staff & NMR as per the management approval. g. Accounting of the Salaries and wages payments through bank / cash. h. Accounting of Prepaid and post paid mobile bills as per the approved limits. i. Maintaining of staff accounts 3. Sundry Creditors (Contractors & Suppliers / Vendors) : d. Verification and certification of the Vendor bills. e. Accounting of the Contractor / Suppliers bills as per proper certification and as per the WO/PO terms and conditions. f. Comparison of Contractor measurement with Client measurement. g. Preparation of Creditor payable list on monthly basis for payments. h. Processing of the creditors payments. i. Preparations of the Payment advise for creditors payments. 4. Sundry Debtors (Sales Accounts) : a. Preparation and submission of Invoices to Customer/Client on monthly basis. b. Accounting of the Sale Invoices after completion of the proper client certification. c. Co-Ordinate with Customers and getting payments in time. d. Follow up with customer to get the Payment advice, TDS and WCT Certificates. e. Accounting of Client payments, TDS & WCT, Other deduction if any as per the client payment advice. f. Debtors outstanding & ageing report to management on weekly basis. g. Preparation of weekly Sales Vs Realizations statement and update to Management. 5. Stock Register / Statements : a. Maintaining of Stores Inward & Outward Registers. b. Preparation of document for Material Internal transfer to other Projects / Contractors. c. Verification of documents like MRR, GRIN and Invoices etc before passing of the supplier bills. d. Verification of Delivery Challans of Contractors issues. e. Confirmation & verification of Physical Stock at Stores and Reconciliation of Stock on monthly basis. f. Getting the confirmation from Stores / Sites for Month ending Physical Stocks and for the month consumption details. g. Preparation & Maintaining of Stock Reports for Monthly Balance Sheets. h. Accounting of Stock Consumption as per Stock Report. i. Preparation of Stock ageing statement and submission to banks for DP. 6. Taxation & Internal & Statuary Audit : a. Deduction of TDS & WCT on Contractor Bills. b. Collecting the TDS & WCT certificates from Tax team and distribute to parties on quarterly basis. c. Service Tax claims to customers as per the norms. d. Verification of Service Tax on Service Bills from Servicers and Consider in Service Tax in puts. e. Verification of Supplier Bills Vat and Consider in Vat in puts in related States. f. Follow up with Customer for TDS & WCT certificates and Reconciliation the books g. Reconciliation of Vat Inputs and payables and Refundable from Departments. h. Preparation Sale Tax Liabilities and submission of monthly returns to departments. i. Co- Ordination with Tax team. j. Participation & Co-Ordination with Internal & External auditors on month basis. k. Providing the bills and documents to internal auditors on monthly basis. l. Attending of the Audit Compliance and given clarification.
