I have QuickBooks 2013 and it's the same as Wave, there is no comprehensive tie in to the accounting process. This is the classic 'teach a man to fish' scenario. The better I do my job, the quicker I get fired. Here is my recommendation for a successful project. I would like to see all of your data so I can get a feel for the situation. If I'm going to consult, I need to get my arms around the vibe of the business. That way, I can answer any question that you throw my way. I'd also like you to consider keeping your books in Excel prior to converting it into Wave. You should see the big picture in a simple format before it goes into the meat grinder. This will help your understanding of the process. Learn to ride the bike, before trying to drive the Ferrari F40. I live in Las Vegas, so the timing wouldn't be an issue for me.
