I need an experienced Financial Analyst, ideally available to spend some time in our Botany NSW, 2019 office, to take full ownership of our cash flow reporting on a contractor basis. Your single-minded focus will be the accurate preparation and analysis of monthly cash flow statements that give management a clear, timely view of liquidity and variances. Our bookkeeping system is up to date and the chart of accounts is clean, so you’ll step straight into compiling, reconciling and interpreting the figures rather than fixing data issues. We work in MYOB and Excel; solid spreadsheet skills are the minimum. Key deliverables each month - Draft cash flow statement within five business days of month-end - Assists with strategic growth and decision support - To perform variance analysis (comparing actuals vs budget) - Builds financials models to evaluate potential investments or business expansion I’ll provide secure access to the ledger, prior reports and our cash forecasting model. You’ll liaise with the finance manager and department leads as needed, so clear communication and the ability to explain movements in plain English are essential. If you have a strong track record in financial reporting and can commit to consistent month-end turnaround times while working independently, I’d like to hear how you would approach the first reporting cycle and your availability to start.
