True North Detailing Logo Design

I’m ready to commission a clean, modern-and-sleek logo for my new company, True North Detailing, LLC, based in Alaska and proudly veteran-owned. The mark has to read well on charcoal and black work shirts, so high contrast is essential. Creative direction • The primary colour should be blue, supported by tones that will hold their own against dark fabric. • I want the Alaskan feel to come through with natural elements—specifically mountains, water and trees (optional)—yet without depicting animals or vehicles. A subtle compass or “north” cue is welcome if it fits the style. • Absolutely no cars in the artwork; the nature theme should carry the brand even though we detail cars, trucks, RVs and boats. • Please weave in “Veteran-Owned since 2026” where it makes sense, keeping the overall look contemporary rather than vintage. * Logo will be featured as front breast pocket logo as well as main logo on the back of the uniform. Deliverables • Scalable vector logo (AI, EPS, PDF) • High-resolution PNG/JPG on transparent, light and dark backgrounds • One-colour and full-colour versions • Font names and colour codes for future use I’ll review initial concepts and offer quick feedback so we can iterate toward a final design that embodies True North Detailing’s precision and Alaskan roots while standing out crisply on dark apparel.
