I’m building a series of movie-explanation videos and need a reliable editor who can also jump in on script work when required. The purpose falls outside the usual “entertainment, education, promotion” boxes; think of it as concise story-retelling that keeps viewers hooked until the last plot twist. Any film is fair game—Hollywood, Bollywood, indie, or whatever title piques my interest—so you’ll need to be comfortable handling footage from all types of movies. I’m not after the standard fast-paced, smooth-cinematic, or minimalistic templates either. Instead, I want an original blend: swift enough to hold attention yet polished with seamless transitions, subtitles, tasteful motion graphics, and royalty-free music or SFX that elevate key moments. Typical scope • Raw clips and voice-over supplied by me • Deliver a 1080p MP4, 8-12 minutes long, ready for upload • Include project files (Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve) and any custom graphics • Three-day turnaround per video To help me choose quickly, please share: at least two narrative edits that show you can condense a storyline, your go-to software, and your per-minute editing rate. I’m on a tight budget, but there will be steady work for the right fit.
