Indie Music Artist Videographer Wanted

Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and versatile videographer to collaborate with an independent music artist. The ideal candidate will have a strong visual storytelling sense and be able to capture high-quality video content that aligns with the artist’s brand, music style, and vision. This role involves filming music videos, live performances, behind-the-scenes content, social media clips, and promotional material. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize, plan, and execute video projects that match the artist’s vision and aesthetic. Film and edit high-quality music videos, lyric videos, performance footage, and promotional content. Collaborate with the artist to storyboard and create visual content for albums, singles, and social media campaigns. Handle all aspects of video production including lighting, camera operation, audio capture, and post-production editing. Manage video assets and maintain an organized library of content for future use. Stay up-to-date with video trends, equipment, and software relevant to music content creation. Occasionally assist with live-stream production or event coverage. Requirements: Proven experience in videography, especially in music, entertainment, or performance-related projects. Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar). Strong creative vision and understanding of visual storytelling, mood, and music branding. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Comfortable operating cameras, drones, lighting, and audio equipment. Knowledge of social media video trends and formats. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, or travel to locations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with live performance recording and multi-camera setups. Understanding of color grading and motion graphics. Familiarity with indie music marketing and branding strategies.
