Software Engineering Programming Task

I’m working on an assignment that takes the form of a programming task centred on software engineering principles. I need a clear, fully-functional solution along with concise documentation that explains how the code is structured and why key design choices were made. The brief itself is still flexible on the stack, so feel free to tackle it in the language you’re most comfortable with—Python, Java, JavaScript or another tool you can justify—provided the final result runs reliably and is easy for me to review and build upon.
