The goal is simple: when someone calls with a general question, the agent should answer naturally, fetch the right information from our FAQ or order-tracking API, and either resolve the issue or pass the call to a human if it reaches a dead end. The solution has to run in real time, so low-latency speech-to-text and text-to-speech are critical. I’m comfortable if you build on Twilio Voice, Dialogflow CX, Amazon Lex, or a comparable stack—as long as the final experience feels human and the conversation logs are easy to review. Everything must be cloud-hosted and ready for me to plug into my current CRM; REST webhooks are already available for order status, returns, and ticket creation. While the first release only needs to understand English, I’d like the architecture to leave room for adding Spanish or French later without a full rewrite.
