Hi - I build the execution engine. I want to be clear that I do not supply the strategy, because anyone promising you a profitable algorithm in a bid is selling something. What I deliver is the part that has to be correct regardless of which strategy you run: broker API integration, order placement with retries and idempotency so a timeout never double-buys, position and P&L tracking reconciled against the broker rather than assumed, hard risk limits on position size and daily loss with an automatic kill switch, and a full audit log of every decision and fill. Your strategy plugs in as a function that receives market data and returns intents. Same interface runs against historical data for backtesting and against the live feed, so what you test is what trades. Sequence: backtest harness first, then paper trading against the live feed for a period you choose, then real capital. Nothing goes live until the paper run and the backtest agree.
