Salesforce Apex Trigger to copy a file (attachment) from Salesforce to Amazon S3

Hello, I am an experienced Salesforce developer with 2.5+ yrs experience and currently playing lead developer of Salesforce project for a MNC. Before making this proposal I invested a lot of time to know about the AWS S3 and the integration technique from salesforce to AWS Rest API using client token and secret to get through OAuth. I can extract the attachments of the email for CaseToEmail feature and send it to AWS for the same contact folder. (couple of questions - 1. what is the name of the folder? 2. Will it be created already or the code will create the folder if not already exist?). But through apex trigger we can send the files not more than 5 MB total size. That's the limit for attachment file and salesforce heap size limit. Instead of doing the apexcall out operation in trigger itself I will call @future method to carry out the process in async manner.
