I’m looking for someone who can take full ownership of our customer support inbox and give every sender a prompt, helpful reply. All interactions will be handled by email only; there are no phone calls or live-chat sessions to worry about right now. Most messages are straightforward general inquiries—order status checks, product questions, or the occasional “how-to”—so you won’t be doing heavy technical troubleshooting or sales pitches. Clear, coherent, and consistently professional written English is essential. I need each response to sound friendly yet business-like, reflecting the tone you’d expect from a well-run online store. You’ll be expected to: • monitor the shared mailbox during agreed-upon hours, • draft and send replies that resolve the customer’s question on the first touch whenever possible, • flag anything out of the ordinary for me so we can escalate it quickly, and • keep concise internal notes so we have a record of what was said. If you have experience with common help-desk tools (Freshdesk, Gorgias, or similar), mention it; otherwise a fast learner with solid email etiquette will fit in just fine. Let me know your availability and how many emails you’re comfortable handling per day so we can set realistic response-time targets.
