Small Business Loyalty Points App

I need an uncomplicated Android application that lets my staff record each customer purchase and automatically award redeemable points. We serve roughly 150 regular customers, so the database can stay lightweight, but it must reliably keep a running total for everyone. Core flow • Staff open the app, choose or add a customer, enter the purchase amount manually, and the system calculates the points on the spot. • The customer’s current balance immediately updates and can be shown on-screen if they ask. Essential screens 1. Purchase entry – simple form for staff. 2. Customer account history – running list of past transactions and points awarded. 3. Redemption options – clear display of what rewards are available and how many points each one costs, with a button to mark points as redeemed. I’m fine with either local storage or a lightweight cloud solution, as long as backups are straightforward. The UI should be clean and easy for non-technical staff to pick up in minutes. Deliverables • APK ready to install on our shop tablets • Full Android Studio project/source code • Brief read-me on how to adjust point ratios or reward items Acceptance criteria • Adding a purchase instantly adds the correct points • History screen shows at least the last 50 transactions per customer in order • Redeeming a reward deducts the right amount and logs the action in history • All functions tested on a recent Android phone and a 10" tablet running Android 11+ If any libraries or frameworks beyond standard Android SDK are used, note them in the read-me so I can maintain the app later.
