Hi there! I have a fairly simple project. I have had an app written which I would like tweaked slightly. The app simply opens up to a white screen and begins detecting my GPS location and translates it into a street address and displays it as a widget. However, sometimes it stops working, or doesn't run at all. What I would like is the app to do is instead run as a background service without a screen popping up when it is started. So: 1) Make the app into a background service which is running all the time. Even if the app is closed/not running, I would like it to restart in the background. 2) Make the app not have the initial white splash screen. 3) As the app is starting up, make sure it displays the phrase "Locating..." I have attached the source code for the project. I think this should be quite straight forward. Looking forward to hearing your proposals!
