Secure Subscription E-Commerce App

The project is a cross-platform e-commerce mobile application built for both iOS and Android, centred on a recurring-payment subscription model. Security sits at the top of the priority list—every line of code, database call, and network request must reflect best practices for data protection, PCI-DSS compliance, encryption in transit and at rest, and rock-solid user authentication. The information shared is customers personal data/images and videos, absolutely security and safety is a must as this is children/families under 18. Core requirements • Seamless in-app subscription flow that integrates a secure payment gateway and handles renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations without exposing sensitive data. • Low-latency product catalogue with smart caching so shoppers can browse and filter items even on poor connections. • Admin-level control panel (web or in-app) that lets staff manage stock, pricing, and subscription tiers in real time. • Clean, modular codebase ready for audit and future feature expansion. I will need verifiable references or testimonials that prove you have shipped at least one production app featuring subscriptions and secure payments. Please be ready to share links, store listings, or contactable referees; security audits or pen-test summaries are a welcome bonus. Deliverables 1. Fully tested iOS and Android builds uploaded to TestFlight and internal Play Console track. 2. Source code in a private Git repo with commit history. 3. Technical documentation covering architecture, third-party services, encryption approach, and deployment steps. 4. Handover session (recorded) walking through code, CI/CD pipeline, and ongoing maintenance recommendations. Acceptance criteria • Subscriptions activate, renew, and cancel correctly on sandbox and live accounts. • All API traffic passes through HTTPS with certificate pinning. • No high-severity issues detected by OWASP Mobile Security Testing Guide checklist. • App meets App Store and Google Play review guidelines for in-app purchases.
