Looking for an international shipping specialist to assist in a cost management project. We have a client who spends $1M/year USD in shipping to mostly between Shanghi and the U.S. Large bulk freight items, chemicals etc... We will provide the information, and we are looking for someone who can make recommendations for how the client could reduce their spend and possibly help negotiate with the carrier. Our company gets paid on a contingency success basis, so we only get paid on what we save the client. Small time investment for someone who knows this market. Fee to consultant is 10% of the annualized savings. If you are able to find 20% savings, you will make $20,000 for about 4-5 hours work max. If you review the invoices and determine there is no savings opportunity, your time investment will only be less than one hour. Ideally, the consultant will have experience working for or is currently at a shipping company. Alternatively, someone who has worked for a large international company and was responsible for shipping contract negotiations.
